Abstract
The present invention provide a soft-switching phase-shifting full bridge circuit, comprising a transformer, a leading leg connected to one end of the primary side of the transformer, a lagging leg connected to another end of the primary side of the transformer, an auxiliary leg connected to a power source, a blocking capacitor connected in series between the primary side of the transformer and the leading leg, and an output circuit arranged on the secondary side of the transformer, wherein the auxiliary leg comprises two capacitor connected across the power source with a node between the two capacitors connected to the primary side of the transformer through an inductor. In the previously described circuit, besides the leading leg that realizes zero voltage switching, the current provided by the auxiliary leg allows the lagging leg to also easily realize zero voltage switching. Furthermore, the blocking capacitor helps preventing magnetic biasing of the transformer and can cooperate with the auxiliary leg to allow an output rectification diode of the output circuit to realize zero current switching.
