Abstract

The present invention provides a process for producing a cycloalkylalkyl ether, which comprises a step of reacting aliphatic olefine ingredient having a chain-type conjugate diene compound and a cyclic conjugate diene compound each in the amount of 10ppm or less, with an alcohol in the presence of solid acid catalyst. According to the present invention, a process for producing a cycloalkylalkyl ether that is capable of producing a cycloalkylalkyl ether in high yield by sufficiently inhibiting the reduction of catalyst activity even though continuously operating for a long time, is provided.
