Abstract

A white light fluorescent material and manufacturing method thereof. The white light fluorescent material comprises the aluminosilicate compound whose chemical formulation is (Ca1-xMx)Al2Si2O8, wherein M is a metal ion which includes the divalent europium ion (Eu2+) and the divalent manganese ion (Mn2+). The range of the X value is fulfilled with 0.001 ≤ X ≤ 0.8. By use of the electron-beam excitation, the white light fluorescent is excited and is capable of emitting the white light with high purity. The white light fluorescent material is formed by means of the solid sinter method.
