Abstract

This invention provides a water treatment device in which exchange of a water-purifying cartridge is easy, into which neither dirt nor dust can intrude easily, and from which removal of surface dirt is also easy. Raw water supplied into the water treatment device is filtered with a water-purifying cartridge. The water treatment device is provided with a cover that enables the attachment or detachment of a water-purifying cartridge sideways. Also, in the water treatment device, there are a space that accommodates the water-purifying cartridge and a space that accommodates things other than the water-purifying cartridge, and these two spaces are partitioned. The aforementioned cover may open and/or close the space in which the water-purifying cartridge is accommodated. The water-purifying cartridge may be attached and detached by removing the cover.
