Abstract
A method for the production of nanostructures comprising the steps of passing gases containing the constituents of the nanostructures to one or more hollow cathode reactors to form the nanostructures, collecting the nanostructures and then removing by-products from the exhaust gases by passing them through one or more hollow cathode reactors together with an oxidising gas.
