Abstract

A cyanoacrylate adhesive composition comprising (A) an α-cyanoacrylate, (B) a polyfunctional compound having a (meth)acryloyl group and (C) a peroxide. The adhesive composition exhibits excellent moist heat resistance and chemical resistance in a wide range of applications including the adhesion between iron surfaces, the adhesion between the surfaces of a synthetic elastomer (rubber) such as SEBS, EPDM and chloroprene elastomer (rubber), and the adhesion between the surfaces of different materials such as the combination of iron and a synthetic elastomer (rubber).
