Abstract

The present invention provides a dye-sensitized solar cell which can sustain photon-to-current conversion efficiency without aging. Meanwhile, the present invention also provides a method to depress the brown color induced by the iodine in the solar cell. The solar cell of this invention is characterized with an electrolysis, which includes an medium, and an insoluble iodine-cyclodextrin guest-binding compound with the average particle size lower than 20 μm.
