A vinylidene chloride copolymer resin composition comprising 100 pts.wt. Of vinylidene chloride copolymer of > 0.035 to 0.075 reduced viscosity and 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. Of plasticizer consisting of at least one compound of the structural formula: [Chemical formula 1] (I) wherein at least one of the R1, R2 and R3 groups is 12-acetoxyoctadecanoyl while the other groups are acetyls.
