Abstract
This invention provides a method for measuring irregular pulsation of electronic sphygmomanometer. After the systolic pressure and diastolic pressure are measured, the air pressure value in tying-band device is further adjusted to a value lower than the diastolic pressure value of the user, and this air pressure value is maintained within a set period of time to perform the irregular pulsation measurement. Since not only the heartbeat signal can still be measured but also the blood can pass through the vessel normally with the aforementioned air pressure value, the user will not feel uncomfortable under long-period use. Further, since the method is suitable for long-period measuring, the possibility of detecting irregular pulsation can be increased, so as to increase the accuracy of measurement.
