Abstract
An apparatus provides a drawing method of optical fiber. The apparatus of optical fiber 60 includes: fixing one end of a performer 10 by a holding device 30, heating and melting another end of the performer 10 by a heater 50, drawing the fiber 60 from the performer 10 by a drawing device. The characteristics of the drawing method of optical fiber are: performing the heating, melting and drawing under the state that a reflective device is disposed around the performer 10, wherein the reflective device reflects the heat rays emitting from the heater 50 into the performer 10. Hence the efficiency of the energy for heating and melting can be increased.
