Abstract

The three-phase current transformer (10) for high voltage or medium voltage electrical equipment comprises: three current conductors (22) centered in respective parallel tubular casings (18) interconnecting two end plates (12) each pierced by three holes; and magnetic cores (24) surrounding the tubular casings and each carrying at least one secondary winding (26). The tubular casings are arranged in a triangle in such a manner that two adjacent magnetic cores define between them a wedge-shaped space (30). The transformer includes a bent metal sheet (32) arranged around the cores (24), connected to the end plates (12), and having opposite edges (360, 362) that define a gap (39). The gap (39) is located facing a wedge-shaped space (30) formed between two adjacent cores, and the output terminals (28) of the secondary windings are contained in said space.
