Abstract

The invention provides a control panel of elevator. It comprises a number of button sets installed on the panel. The button sets are used to activate an operational controller for controlling the elevator to move up or down, or to perform other functions. Where, each button set includes a push-type switch for generating a signal to turn on the operational controller when pressed by the operator and a proximity sensing device which consists of a emitter and a receiver. When an object is moving close to the proximity sensing device, the proximity sensing device will reflect the signal emitted from the emitter so that the receiver will receive the reflected signal and will generate another signal to activate the controller. Therefore, the operator could turn on the controller without touching on the push-type switch. The push-type switch and the proximity sensing device are connected in parallel circuit so that either push-type switch or the proximity sensing device could generate signal to activate the controller to perform related control functions.
