Abstract
The present invention provides an electronic map platform of space information, which includes a kernel layer, an intermediate layer, and a user layer. The user layer includes an operating interface used by a terminal user and an application program corresponding thereto. The position of the user is confirmed via a position providing source, which is combined with an inquiry request generated by a user-operated application program for being transmitted wirelessly to a data intermediate layer in a format of XML (eXtensible Markup Language) conforming to data switch standard. The intermediate layer is provided to inquiry the format readable after being converted to the kernel layer, so as to perform inquiry operation to the electronic map engine, server routing server, or GEO coding server with a suitable corresponding inquiry tool. The generated inquiry result is transmitted back to the intermediate layer for being converted into XML, which is then transmitted back according to the source that initiated the request.
