Abstract

The present invention relates to a comparison method using software to compare modification condition of circuit design diagram. When the method uses computer to draw a circuit design diagram, a previous version of a circuit design diagram is drawn with a first color layer, and a next version thereof is drawn with a second color layer. As a result, when intending to distinguish the modification condition between the previous and the next versions of the circuit design diagram, an automatic comparison program can be used to superimpose the circuit design diagram of the next version on that of the previous version. As the next version of the circuit design diagram is already changed or modified, the circuit design diagram of the next version cannot fully match with that of the previous version. Consequently, the second color layer of the circuit design diagram of the next version is adopted for the display of the circuit design diagram after comparison on a display screen of a computer. However, the changed or modified component or design is displayed by the first color layer adopted in the previous version and the second color layer adopted in the next version so as to distinguish the difference before and after a version change of the circuit design diagram with different colors.
