Abstract

This invention provides an interpolation method for compensating the pixel color. It applies the compensating method for the color of the array formed by green, red, blue pixels. Namely, each pixel comprises the three primary colors --- red, green, blue. The interpolation method is that it receives the signal of pixel array, and determines the tendency variation of the signal in the horizontal and vertical direction around the four green pixels. Afterwards, it averages the two adjacent green pixels to each red/blue pixel. Further, it uses this average value to compensate for the green primary color data of red/blue pixels. Furthermore, it compensates the blue or/and red prime colors lost by each pixel for the pixels in the horizontal and vertical directions by interpolation method respectively. Moreover, it makes each pixel have the three primary colors --- red, green, blue. Eventually, it provides an accurate interpolation color value. Therefore, it achieves the effect of high-accurate and stable resolution.
