Abstract
A transponder is constituted by forming an antenna circuit of an antenna coil on a substrate formed on a printing circuit board and by disposing a IC chip mounting area for mounting a IC chip on the surface of the substrate. The length of the antenna coil can be adjusted in accordance with the IC chip mounting position of the IC chip mounting area. As a result, the antenna coil length can be adjusted by the transponder in cooperation with the IC chip mounting position so that different frequency resulting from each manufacturing process can be offset by adjusting inductor.
