Abstract
The present invention is related to a composition for use as microbicide, deodorizaing agent and/or pesticide, comprising an effective amount of a water-soluble chitin and at least one metal salt. The metal salt and the water-soluble chitin are present in the composition at a ratio by weigh from 1:10 to 1:500. The present invention is also related to a method of controlling mcroorganisms in agriculture, comprising spraying the present pesticidal composition onto a plant, a part of a plant, a pest or the environment.
