Description

(54) METHOD FOR TREATING SEEDS OF CUCUMBER PLANTS

Claims (2)

А 01 N 43/28, 1972. The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to crop production and can be used in the cultivation of vegetable crops in greenhouse production and outdoor conditions. A known method of treating seeds of a plant with a salt of dillapioic acid 1. There is also a known method of treating seeds with a solution of microelements 2. However, treating seeds with known methods does not give a sufficiently high yield, for example, such plants as cucumbers. The purpose of the invention is to increase the yield of cucumbers. The goal is achieved by the fact that plants are treated with a solution of yeast ribonucleic acid (RNA) with a concentration of 0.01-1.0 g / l. Example. The effect of exogenous (yeast) RNA on the yield of cucumber varieties Nezhensky in conditions of open ground. Water-washed cucumber seeds are soaked with a solution of RNA at a concentration of 1 g / l for 24 hours at 18–20 ° C. The yield on the area of 20 m exceeded the yield on the untreated area by 1.5 times and by 30-50% compared with cucumbers treated with a solution of microelements. At the same time, a longer fruiting of experimental plants was noted (for 3-4 weeks), which lasted until the first frost. These data indicate a high efficiency of the proposed method, especially when it is used in greenhouses, where the yield from 1.m is increased by 50%. Claims of the method of treating seeds of cucumber plants, including the treatment with biologically active substances, characterized in that, in order to increase the yield of cucumbers, a solution of yeast ribonucleic acid with a concentration of 0.01-1.0 g / l is used as the biologically active substance.
