Abstract

A blow-moulded barrel of thermoplastic synthetic resin has diametrically- opposed longitudinal mould dividing seams in the barrel side wall, and comprises a barrel body (3) and integral L-section handling chimes (1, 2) adjacent the top and bottom thereof so as to define upwardly and downwardly directed annular channels (9) respectively. The height of the chimes (1, 2) and the wall thickness of the radial flanges (13) are constant over the whole circumference of the barrel. However, in order to ensure complete formation of the chimes during blow moulding, the wall thickness of each axial flange (10) decreases continuously from the region of one seam through 90 DEG in both circumferential directions to opposed intermediate regions, where the wall thickness of each axial flange is substantially equal to the wall thickness of the barrel body, and then increases therefrom to the region of the other seam. <IMAGE>

Known brchka from thermoplastic material, containing a cylindrical body, made 3apjaHO with him verasny and lower protrusions of U-shaped section, directed in opposite directions, the horizontal walls have a constant thickness

A disadvantage of the known thermoplastic material is that the protrusions formed therein for using the gripping devices are not reliable enough in operation.

The aim of the invention is to increase the reliability of the operational BOGI.

This goal is achieved by the fact that in a barrel of thermoplastic material containing a cylindrical body, integral with it are upper and lower protrusions of a U-shaped section, directed to opposite sides, horizontal walls of which have a constant thickness, vertical walls located in two diametrically opposite points of the protrusions, have a thickening greater than that of the wall thickness of the case, while in two diametrically 16 opposite points located at an angle of 90 to the indicated areas, the thickness of the vertex ikalnoy wall projections equal to the thickness of the housing wall and topshina

to вертикальной стенки на участках, расПоложетных между указанными точками, превышает толщину стенки корпуса, но меньше утолщени .To the vertical wall in the areas located between the specified points exceeds the thickness of the casing wall, but less thickening.

Claims (1)

1977,The 25 protrusions 5 and 6 are of constant thickness. In the recesses 9 of the upper bottom, 3 barrels of 10 n 11 grooves were placed. Vertical walls 12, located in two diametrically opposite sections 13 of the projections 5 and b, have a thickening exceeding the thickness of the wall 2 of the body, while in two diametrically protruded angle of 90 to sections 13, the thickness in the tical wall 12 of the projections 5 and 6 is equal to the thickness of wall 2 of Cortus 1, and the thickness of the vertical wall 12 on areas 15 located between sections 13 and 14 exceeds the tops of wall 2 of housing 1, but thickened section 13. Offered The barrel made of thermoplastic material provides good exploitation reliability due to the presence of a uniformly manufactured coupling groove with the gripper and transport tools MeHtoM and better distribution of the material in the projections compared to the known technical solution. Claims of the Invention A barrel of thermoplastic material, containing a cylindrical body, integral with it, is an upper and lower protrusions of a C-shaped section, directed in opposite directions, the horizontal walls of which have a constant thickness, distinguished by the fact that, in order to improve operational reliability, vertical walls, located in two diametrically opposed protrusions of the protrusions, have a thickening, exceeding the thickness of the body wall, while at two diametrically opposite points, placed At an angle of 90 to the specified areas, the thickness of the vertical wall of the protrusions is equal to the thickness of the wall of the case, and the thickness of the vertical wall in the areas located between the specified points exceeds the thickness of the wall of the body ,, but less thickened.
