Description

In auth. St. No. 78900 describes a method for detecting oil-bearing ilast by measuring the values of electrodes in the form of forces of electrochemical origin arising from the introduction of chemical reagents into the mud.

The proposed modification of the method according to ed. St. No. 78900 is that instead of treating the entire mud with a chemical reagent, a local reagent supply is applied to one of the two electrodes that are lowered into the well. To implement this method, it is proposed to use an apparatus that is lowered together with the electrodes into the well, containing the reagent and equipped with a tube that supplies this reagent to one of the electrodes.

FIG. Figures 1 and 2 schematically depict two variants of such analogue.

The principle of operation of the apparatus is based on the fact that chemical reactions of certain reagents create specific electromotive forces. Reagents are supplied to one of the two identical electrodes, which are lowered into the well under the same conditions, giving specific electromotive forces upon the chemical action of these peai eHTOBs on oil, gases, Boda and rocks, in which a well is drilled. The change in the potential difference between both elektrodrody, depending on what (oil, gas, rock, etc.) comes into contact with the reagent during the passage of squalls. gives an indication of the presence of oil, gas, water, or those or other rocks in this area of wells 1.
