Description

The subject of the invention is the modification of a suspension of a single-cable rod-type grab for use in a boom crane.

In well-known grabs of this type, freely suspended on a rope to a crane, special unloading devices are necessary for their unloading, which causes inconvenience in operation.

In the invention described below, this disadvantage is eliminated by the fact that the grab bar is suspended directly to the crane arm.

After the final closing and further winding of the rope 16, the boom begins to lift, and the rope 17 weakens. Raising the boom to the desired height, the rope (7) is tightened, and the rope (16) is weakened, with the result that the jaws of the grapple are opened.
