Description
1(54) ABSORBENT FOR CLEANING GAS FROM IODA VAPOR 371 At a concentration of sodium sulfite below 1.5 - j, the absorption coefficient drops sharply, at a concentration of 250 it remains almost unchanged. Increasing the concentration of sodium sulfite above 40O is impractical for economic reasons. Table. 2 presents data illustrating an increase in the absorption method of the proposed absorbent versus the known one, as well as the results of gas purification experiments with the proposed absorbent containing various quantitative components. Gas flow rate 1.9 m / s, irrigation density 19, iodine concentration 0.4 m / mI Table 1
