The invention relates to the improvement of a lock for a flexible organ (chain or rope), covering a package of logs, rounded on railway platforms, and holding associated temporary racks, which prevent the logs from rolling off after harvesting fixed racks. Moreover, the lock is designed so that it can be opened at some distance by means of a rope attached to it.

The proposed lock differs from the known ones in that it is provided with a process that is inserted into the rack socket, with a latch swiveling on it to hold it in the rack socket.

FIG. 1 shows the proposed lock in the closed position with the cable loop held therein; in fig. 2 - the same lock in the open position; in fig. 3 - mounting the lock on the platform.

Two inclined logs are installed on the unloading side to roll the logs off the platform using the proposed device. At one end, the inclined logs abut against the ground, while the other approaches closely to the lower log, which is located on the platform.

The outermost pillars on the unloading side are cut down at the platform floor and free of the average load.

A severed stubby rack is knocked out of the rack socket. Scion 1 of lock 3 is inserted into this socket, after which the latch 2 of the lock is moved to a horizontal position. The loop 6 of the cable 5 is inserted into the lock and secured with a locking pad 4 fixed by a fuse 7 inserted into the hole of the pad. The lower end of the rack is inserted into the rack ring 8 attached to the cable 5. The free end of the cable is thrown over the log stub to the opposite side of the platform, wrapped (depending on the length of the cable) around the bottom end of the rack and attached

screw stitch loop. With the help of a screw clamp, the cable pulls tight.

After locking the locks on the unloading side, instead of the two outermost posts removed from the unloading side, the cables are fixed in the order indicated above, the two middle ones left on the unloading side are removed. A rope is attached to the pad of each lock, fuses are removed from the locks, after which the unloading operator moves to the side (from the front side of the platform) by 3-4 meters, opens the locks and logs by simultaneously tensioning both ropes , are rolled over obliquely set logs to the side.
