Этот продукт находитс в равновесии с иононом и остаетс всегда среди продуктов изомеризации псевдоиононов в количестве до 10%. Попытка превращени этого гидроксилсодержащего продукта в соответствующий ионон в обычных услови х циклизации псевдоионона не привела к положительным результатам. Согласно изобретению оказалось, что если этот промежуточный продукт заранее добавл ть к псевдоионону в количествах до 10%, то в результате изомеризации не образуетс новых количеств высококип щей примеси, а весь загруженный псевдоионон превращаетс в соответствующий ионон.
