Description

The proposal relates to formwork used for plastering walls by pouring mortar (for cast plaster).

The formwork consists of shitov and racks fastened together flush against the surfaces facing the wall.

A new feature of the proposed formwork is that the pillars and shields have "quarters" to facilitate proper fixing of the shields on the racks.

Formwork boards 1 (Figs. 1 and 3) are a frame connected by spikes from planks. On one side, the frame is upholstered with dense 6-8 mm plywood 11, the working surface of which is covered with a tightly tensioned oilcloth 12. Oilcloth serves to protect the plywood from warping and delaminating. The working surface of the plywood can also be painted. Quarters are selected along the perimeter of the shield.

The boards are attached to the uprights 2 (Figs. 4 and 5), which are installed at a certain distance from each other. Racks 2 also have quarters cut from the sides. Quarters are beveled for better sliding of the boards when shooting; in the same manner, the side quarters of the shield of the shields are bevelled. For pressing the shields to the posts there are double-sided clamps 3, which are attached to the posts at a certain distance from each other. The struts 4 are attached to the posts (Fig. 5), which are connected to the stands by removable hinge loops 5. The lower part of the strut is equipped with a metal strap 6, which serves to protect the lower part of the wood from crushing while sticking to the floor. The working surface of the racks is tightly wrapped with oilcloth or painted. The posts are attached to the mash marks (nail heads) and fixed to the ceiling with semi-screw fasteners 7 (Fig. 5).

For corner casting, an angle stand (Fig. 6) is used, consisting of a pair of bars 8. One of the sides of the bar, to which the shields are attached, has a beveled quarter. Bars are interconnected by ANGULAR

edges 9 made of planks. The corner ribs are cut into spikes. For greater rigidity, intermediate ribs 13 are also strengthened. Plywood 14 is nailed to the ribs and bars, the working surface of which is tightly covered with oilcloth 15 or painted.

The corner stand is also mounted to the marks and fixed to the ceiling and floor by means of special corner clamps. The shields are pressed to the corner stand by one-sided clamps,

In order to prevent the solution from flowing out of the lower quarter of the first shields, beneath the latter are laid on the floor of the board 10 with the selected quarters (Fig. 7). The three sides of the board are lightly frozen with alabaster mortar before pouring. Boards after casting shields are easy to push. The working surface of the boards and racks is lubricated before installation with a special composition consisting of a mixture of kerosene and water mixed with soap.

Fill the shields as follows. First, the first (lower) shields are poured; after them, the second shields are installed and poured. After the second shield has been cast, the first are removed and set above the second; after pouring the third shields, the second ones are removed and installed over the third, etc. Thus, the shading of the shields is performed continuously as the shields are built up.

Small seams or irregularities obtained after removing the shields are slightly rubbed with floats.
