Description

Antagonistic properties.

The culture produces a thermolabile entomocytic exotoxin and pathogenic for many insects: blond, warlock and cabbage moths, silkworm, beechwood, oak wormwood, wormwood leaf beetle, etc.

Highlights antagonistic factors that inhibit the growth of the first and third serotypes of you. thuringiensis.

The proposed strain was isolated by the author from beetles killed by bacteriosis and larvae of wormwood leaf beetles. The culture has a pronounced entomocidal effect due to thermolabile exotoxin. It differs from representatives of its serotype in its morpho-physiological features and spectrum of action on insects, therefore, the variant of the wormwood leaf beetle was named.

The strain as one of the components forms the basis of the BTC bacterial insecticide. The insecticide has proven to be highly effective against many harmful insects.

Distinctive features of you. thuringiensis from you. thuringiensis is a variant of wormwood leaf beetle, and presented in the table.
