Description

The invention relates to the field of non-destructive testing of materials and products and can be used to inspect pipes. A known scanning flux probe head to a flaw detector for controlling cylindrical ferromagnetic products, for example, pipes, contains several flux probes located around the circumference of a rotating disk, the axis of rotation of which coincides with the longitudinal axis of the product. The disadvantages of the known head are relatively large magnitudes of uncontrolled areas from each end of the pipe. The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the length of the monitored section at each end of the pipe and is achieved by providing the head with an additional rotating flux disk mounted coaxially with the first disk at a given distance from it. The drawing shows a diagram of an automated installation with the proposed head. The head contains a base with insulating gaskets 1 and 2, on which there are two 3 3 4 hardware devices, each with conductive rollers 5 and 6. In addition, it contains ferrosoid sensors 7 and 8 located on 9 rotating discs coaxial with the pipe under test. and 11, and two autonomous power display units (in hell, not shown) associated with flux-gate sensors. The installation functions as follows. In the process of moving the pipe 9 between the rollers of the hardware, it is magnetized by the action of the current passing through it. Rotating by means of disks sensors 7 and 8 convert the parameters of the magnetic field into electrical sigals, which are recorded by the display units, and the electrical signals are judged on the results of control, in particular, the absence of defects in the pipe. The subject matter was invented and Scanning fluxgate head to the flaw detector for pipe inspection, containing several flux-probes located around the circumference of the rotating disk, the axis of rotation of which coincides with the axis of the pipe, characterized in that, in order to reduce the size of the uncontrolled section at each end of the pipe a rotating disk mounted coaxially to the first disk at a given distance from it and having flux-probes located along its circumference.
