Известен способ хлоридной плавки шихты, состо щей из металлсодержаш,его сырь , хлорируюш .их агентов, флюса и кокса. Шихта, состо ща  из отвальных шлаков свинцового производства, хлорагентов CaCl2 и NaC в смеси с кварцевым флюсом и коксом , непрерывно поступает в герметизированную печь, а возгоны цветных металлов через короткий газоход непрерывно поступают в полый теплоизолированный конденсатор и конденсируютс  там в жидком состо нии. Образующа с  в печи расплавленна  масса (стеклошлак и чугун), по мере накоплени  выпускаютс .
