The known retainer containing a ball, which interacts with the fixed part and the preload element, does not ensure reliable fastening of the parts on the shaft, especially in hard-to-reach places.

In order to eliminate this drawback, the gland element is made in the form of a threaded rod provided with a tapered end interacting with the ball.

FIG. 1 shows the proposed retainer, general view; in fig. 2 shows an embodiment of the fixing part of the device.

The retainer is mounted in the drill / element 2 mounted on the shaft 3. The drilling / has a thread 4, corresponding to the thread 5 on the screw 6. The head 7 of the screw 6 has a slot 8 and a hole 9.

The opposite end of the screw 6 has the shape of a cone 10, which acts on the ball 11, which is drilled 12 between the shaft 3 and the cone-end 10 of the screw 6.

On the side of the shaft 3 between the ball 11 and the shaft 3 is placed the plate 13.

The latch works as follows.

At the time of installation of the element 2 on the shaft 3, the screw 6 is screwed in until it stops, and the ball // allows you to freely insert the element 2 on the shaft 3.

When screwing the screw 6 until it stops, the cone-shaped end 10 of the screw 6 presses the ball // and the plate 13 onto the shaft 3 and thus fixes element 2 firmly on the shaft 3. After that, the screw 6 through the hole 9 in the head 7 can be locked with wire or other in a known way.

The use of plate 13 is not necessary. In its absence, the shaft 3 has a drilling

14 for ball 11. This ensures the reliability of the rigid attachment of element 2 to shaft 5.
