Abstract
FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: method is employed for design of lasers with pulse- periodic generation and tunable pulse repetition frequency. Division of pulse repetition frequency is obtained by modulation of pumping and by change of detuning of frequencies of pumping modulation and of inherent relaxation frequency of laser with the aid of control over inherent relaxation frequency by smooth change of generation threshold or by change of frequency of pumping modulation. EFFECT: simplification of method, stabilization of time structure of output radiation.
