Description

The proposed device is designed to reduce the need for manpower when loading long items onto open rolling stock, which is accomplished by the usual combination of pivot struts with blocks, cables and winches, but with a special support device for connecting racks to rails and laying it on the timber beams to reinforce rollers that guide the lateral movement of the racks.

The proposed lifting device consists of two racks 1, mounted on the ends of the loading platform between the buffers. The legs 1 of the carrier through the articulated axles 15 on the shoulders 2, fixed to the rails with hooked ends 4 or more using the bars 16. The guide rollers and and 12 are mounted on a special beam 9 mounted on buffers HCl of the loading platform.
