Abstract

This invention relates to medicine and can be used in neurology and physiotherapy. The method allows to eliminate complications and increase the effectiveness of treatment. This is achieved by determining the frequency of assimilation of the rhythm of light stimulation on the electroencephalogram in the range of 3-7 Hz and the effect of rhythmic light flashes of the detected frequency on the child's visual analyzer.

Description

This invention relates to medicine and can be used in neurology and physiotherapy.

The aim of the invention is to eliminate complications and increase the effectiveness of treatment.

The method is carried out as follows.

The child is put on an elastic mask with built-in neon light bulbs, placed on a couch and an electroencephalogram is recorded using standard leads. At the same time, using a mask, the visual analyzer is subjected to rhythmic photic stimulation and the frequency of assimilation of the rhythm of light flashes is determined on the electroencephalogram.

For treatment, children are selected who have an assimilation of the stimulation rhythm in a slow frequency range.

The treatment is carried out at any time of the day, but preferably in the evening. A child is conveniently placed and given a light signal with a frequency, the absorption of which is recorded on the EEG, with an intensity that does not cause unpleasant sensations. During the procedure, the child may fall asleep.

The duration of the procedure is 15-20 minutes. The course of treatment is 5-10 sessions.

Example. Patient D., 7 years old, Diagnosis: neurotic enuresis. According to the electroencephalogram data, the child was preliminarily determined the frequency of assimilation of the light stimulation rhythm, which was 4 Hz.

При наблюдении в течение 8 мес в постель не мочилс .Then the child was comfortably placed in bed, an elastic mask with a photo stimulator built into it was put on his head and rhythmic flashes of 4 Hz were applied, the intensity at the level of perception. The procedure lasted 20 minutes. After 4 sessions, the child quickly fell asleep and woke up awake. Conducted 10 sessions. When observed for 8 months in bed is not wet.
