Изобретение относитс  к области испытаний на герметичность и позвол ет повысить надежность контрол  изделий с течами от 1 до 1.10 -5 л мкм рт.ст./с путем подбора в процессе контрол  давлени  пробного газа в полости издели , при котором его утечка максимальна. Изделие помещают в герметичную камеру, вакуумируют полость камеры и издели . Повышают давление пробного газа в полости издели  от 0 до 10 кгс/см 2. Повышение давлени  ведут ступенчато с шагом 0,2-1,2 кгс/см 2. После каждого повышени  давлени  провод т измерение утечки пробного газа в герметичную камеру.
