Устройство содержит основание 1 и установленные на нем базовую призму 2, на которой устанавливаетс  измер емый объект 8, упоры 3 и 4 с двух сторон призмы 2, измерители 6 и 7 линейных перемещений и приводной ролик 5, расположенный так, что его ось вращени  расположена в плоскости, перпендикул рной плоскости симметрии призмы 2 и под углом 45° к продольной оси призмы.
