Abstract
The invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmic instruments for evacuating lens weights and retraction of the iris. The purpose of the invention is to reduce operative and postoperative complications while reducing the time of surgery. The device consists of two thin-walled tubes with a distal working part 1, curved around the circumference away from the working part. The working part has holes 3 above which L-shaped protrusions 4 are located. For operation, the device is connected through the nozzle 8 to the irrigation and aspiration system and introduced into the anterior chamber of the eye, and then after removing the core, into the capsular lens bag at a constant flow fluids through aperture 3. An approach to hard-to-reach equatorial masses is possible when the iris is retracted by L-shaped protrusions 4. The device has reduced the operation time by 18%. 4 il.

This invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmic instruments.
Цель - снижение операционных и послеоперацион1у)1х осложнений при одновременном сокращении времени операции .The goal is to reduce operative and postoperative 1x complications while reducing the time of surgery.
Figure 1 shows the structure of the proposed device; 2 shows the distal (working) part of the device (cross section); on fig.Z - the position of the device in the eye during the operation during the evacuation of the mass of the lens, side view; figure 4 is the same, top view.
8.The device is made of two thin-walled tubes, has a curved distal (working) part 1 and a proximal rectilinear part 2. The distal (working) part is curved circumferentially away from the working part and is selected with the enlarged pupil radius. The working part has three holes 3, - laid at its ends and the center of symmetry, and over which l-shaped projections are made 4. the free ends of which are rounded and directed to the curved surface of the working part. Diametrically opposed to the L-shaped protrusions, the surface of the working part 1 is provided with notches 5. The internal cavity 6 of the working part 1 communicates with the internal cavity 7 of the proximal part 2. The device is connected to a syringe or an aspiration and irrigation system using a nozzle 8.
The device works as follows.
A device connected to a nitrile or irrigation-aspiration system is introduced into the anterior chamber of the eye, and then into the lens capsule bag 9 after removing the adra. The device is introduced. At a constant flow of irrigation liquid from
4.working holes 3. The working part 1 of the device is immersed in the residual lens mass 10, which, under the action of aspiration of a syringe or automated system, passes through the working holes into the internal cavity 6 of the working part 1, and then into the internal cavity 7 proximally. Part 2 of the device is removed from the eye. At the same time, an approach to remote equatorial masses is possible in connection with the retraction of the iris 11 of the L-shaped protrusions 4.
During aspiration of lens masses and retraction of the iris, the posterior capsule 12 is cleaned by notches 5 of the working part of lens masses tightly attached to it, facilitating their advancement to the working openings and their aspiration.
