Description

Various types of water-borne reinforced concrete dams made of precast reinforced concrete hollow blocks of rectangular outline in plan with filling of cavities in them and intervals between blocks with local materials are known. However, a large amount of concrete is spent on the construction of such dams.

The described dam to reduce the amount of concrete work consists of individual elements of the T-section in the plan. The shelves of these elements form the pressure face of the dam. They include blocks installed on the long sides along the pressure front. The walls of the elements include blocks directed long sides perpendicular to the pressure face, and the adjacent walls are interconnected by plates.

1.FIG. 1 shows the described dam in cross section; in fig. 2 shows a section along LL in FIG. one.

The weir of a reinforced concrete dam consists of elements / T-sections in plan, laid with doM. When the dam is erected on rocky and semi-rocky bases 2, contact and depth cementation 5 of base 2 rocks is performed. The pommel edge 4 is made of hollow blocks 5, the long sides 6 of which lie along the pressure front. The armature of the adjacent blocks 5 in the horizontal direction is joined to each other, as well as to the vertically mounted reinforcement. After welding the reinforcement, the joints 7 in the pressure face 4 are filled with expanding cement mortar, and the internal voids 8 in the blocks 5 are filled with ordinary concrete, which is carefully compacted with vibrators. Face 4 is supported by blocks 9, structurally identical with block 5 and laid so that their long walls 10 are perpendicular to pressure face 4. Grounds are poured into the internal cavities of blocks 9 and in space 12 and the joints 13 are filled with concrete - The connection between parallel rows of blocks 5 is effected by reinforced concrete slabs J4, which increases
