Description

Basically auth. No. 135887 described a method for producing high strength metals and metals by their thermomechanical or thermomechanical-magnetic processing. Such treatment allows to obtain high strength and sufficient ductility, which dramatically increases the operational durability of products. However, after this treatment, the hardness of the products remains relatively high, which prevents machining and finishing the products to the final shape and size.

To this end, the metal or alloy strengthened by thermomechanical magnetic or thermomechanical treatment is first subjected to short-term softening tempering (for example, at 400-600 °), and then strengthened by quenching during short-time holding followed by tempering To obtain high strength of metals and alloys, thermomechanical processing of semi-finished products is first carried out, which increases strength. Then, tempering is carried out to reduce hardness, which allows mechanical processing of the product to the required shape and size, and further quenching and low tempering, which will result in high strength and sufficient ductility due to preservation of the effect of the previous thermomechanical treatment.

The described method can be widely used in machining and toolmaking.

No. 148076- 2 Subject of the invention

St. No. 135887, characterized in that, for the purpose of machining a metal strengthened by thermomechanical magnetic or thermomechanical treatment, it is first subjected to short softening tempering (for example, at 400-600 °), and then strengthened by hardening under short-time aging followed Holidays (for example, at 100-200 °).
