Description

In the proposed apparatus for processing plaster casts it is meant, by gradual cutting of thin layers from plaster casts, to prevent the spoilage and breaking of the latter, while shortening the working.

In the drawing of FIG. 1 depicts a schematic overview of the apparatus; FIG. 2 is the same without a cap.

The proposed apparatus for processing plaster casts consists of two drawers A and B (Fig. 1) connected in one piece. Inside the crate L, fitted with the door 1, a bucket 20 is placed (Fig. 2). In the upper frame 3 of box A, grooves (guides) 4-4i (Fig. 2) are cut along which plate 5 is moving, having 2/3 of frame length 3. The left half of 6 plate 5 is provided with longitudinal holes 10 designed to remove chips in the bucket 20, and the right half with 7 knives 8 with the blades tilted towards the wall 9 of the crate A. Over the frame 3 are placed a tightly attached plate 21 with a protrusion 22 (Fig. 1) and a movable plate 23 with a handle 24. Right half of the 7 plate 5 connected to the end 13 of the washer 12, the other end 14 of which is fixedly connected to a sleeve 15 attached to claim 16, rotated by motor 17; thus, the latter described by the crank mechanism is associated with the plate 5.

The plaster cast to be processed is fixed between the plates 21 and 23 and is cut by the knives 8, set in motion by the sleeves 12 and 15 from the motor 17.

2. At the apparatus indicated in paragraph 1, it is used as an engine for a motor 17 connected to the plate 5 by means of a crank mechanism. /
