In the proposed adaptation to the overcasting machine, the overlock, in order to stop the machine at the moment of cutting the threads, mounted on the foot of the machine is a bracket for lifting the spring-loaded knife lever, turning off its locking pawl and releasing it through a flexible latch of a pedal cable that interacts with the starting device of the machine.
