Abstract
The invention relates to catalytic chemistry, in particular a catalyst for the hydrogenation of CO to methane, which can be used to purify industrial gases. The catalyst based on bentonite clay contains 3.25-6.5 wt.% Nickel oxide and has a better activity than in the known case. Thus, the degree of CO conversion at 150 ° C is 99.93% versus 99.4% while maintaining activity over 900 hours versus 250 hours. Table 1.
