Description

Known methods for obtaining air-full, len iso1 tsni on coaxial cables by means of spiral clamps, for example, described in the French patent No. 1.126921 for cl. H01 from 1956, require the use of complex technological devices.

In contrast to the known, the proposed method allows to obtain high-quality insulation of a coaxial pair and is the most economical and simple. It is based on the property of synthetic threads that are pre-stretched in a cold state and shorten their length when heated. Upon receipt of air-polyethylene insulation on a conductive core in the head of a syringe press, a thin polyethylene hot tube is freely pressed on. Immediately behind the syringe press head, this hot polyethylene tube is wound in a spiral with a predetermined pitch cold, the synthetic thread stretched in advance. The mark, heated from the heat of the polyethylene tube, shrinks and evenly compresses the polyethylene tube in a spiral to the conductive core. After cooling, the thread may be left on the tube or wound with it.

Subject invention

A method of manufacturing air-polyethylene insulation with spiral clamps for coaxial and symmetrical communication cables, characterized in that, in order to simplify the technology, a thin polyethylene hot tube (pressed onto the conductor No. 136426-2 of the cable core) is wound with a spiral at a predetermined pitch, a cold, pre-stretched synthetic filament, which, when shortened in contact with the said hot tube, forms on the latter spiral clamps that fix the current-carrying core of the cable in its center.
