Description

In the practice of cinematography and technical photography, there is a need to obtain high-contrast images with high optical density on a completely transparent background with the highest possible sharpness. For example, when combined filming, the stray mask on a special film, after exposure and chemical-photographic treatment using the inversion method, an image is obtained: a mask with optical density 3 on a transparent background.

Obtaining such a clean, transparent background is achieved by using a prolonged appearance in the presence of silver halide solvents. In this case, along with the usual chemical manifestation, dissolution occurs, which is incapable of such manifestation of silver halide in the exposed areas, and its subsequent restoration on the already formed silver aggregates — the physical manifestation.

To create more favorable conditions for carrying out these processes, they are carried out separately in special solutions — first, chemical and then physical manifestation.

Происход щие при такой длительной обработке диффузионные  влени  привод т к образованию диффузных ореолов, существенно вли ющих на уменьшение краевой разности изображени .The diffusion phenomena that occur with such a long treatment lead to the formation of diffuse halos, which significantly affect the decrease in the edge difference of the image.

Чем меньше этот угол, тем хуже будет краева  разность изображени .The diffuse halo leads to the fact that the interface between the exposed and unexposed zones of the photollo (the thickness of the layer when looking at microsections) is not perpendicular to the substrate plane, but makes some angle with it. The smaller this angle, the worse the margin of the image will be.

The proposed method of enhancing the edge sharpness of highly contrast photographic images; obtained by the method of treatment with a two-stage first manifestation, first in the chemical and then in the physical developer, is that a retarding agent, such as 2-mercaptosulfobenzimidazole, which reduces its effect through the thickness of the layer, is introduced into the physical developer.

При обработке по описанному способу инфрахроматической пленки дл  получени  «блуждающей маски примен ют следуюн,ие растворы;When processing the infrachromatic film according to the described method, the following solutions are used to obtain a "stray mask";
