Изобретение относитс  к способам хранени  сельскохоз йственной продукции и может быть, в частности, использовано дл  хранени  моркови. С целью уменьшени  потерь моркови от бактериальных и грибных заболеваний морковь одновременно подвергаетс  меловой обработке, заключающейс  в нанесении на нее опылением сухого по- рощкообразного мела, и воздействию звуковых колебаний в интервале частот от 50 до 1000 Гц с интенсивностью звука от 90 до 120 дБ в течение 50 - 70 мин.
