Description

« .".

This invention relates to medicine and can be used in the treatment of conjunctivitis.

The aim of the invention is to reduce the treatment time by preventing the development of microbial resistance to antibiotics.

Example 1. Patient S., 53 years old, was admitted with a diagnosis of chronic conjunctivitis. Sick 6 years. He had previously received treatment with sodium sulfacyl, furatsillinom, levomycetinum. By the time of admission, the clinical symptoms of conjunctivitis - conjunctival hyperemia, its infiltration, lacrimation, and abundant mucous membranes persisted. Bacteriological examination revealed staphylococci i and protei sensitive to entamycin, kanamycin, carbetsillin. Instillation of these antibiotics was performed every 20 minutes in random order. In this case, the following sequence appeared: Kar-Kan-Gen-Kar-Gene-Gene-Kan-Kar-Kan. A total of 9 antibiotic instillations were made on the 1st day of treatment. The seeding of the detached eye did not detect the growth of pathogenic flora. Over the next few days, the patient's condition improved significantly according to objective data.

25 The proposed method of treating conjunctivitis reduces the duration of treatment. In the chronic course of the process from several months to 9-12 days due to the lack of development of resistance of microorganisms to antibiotics, there will be no relapses with separate observation.
