Description

During the operation of continuously operating centrifuges with auger extraction of sediment, the latter sticks to the walls of the discharge chamber, forming a semi-ring made of processed material around the enemy drum. Due to a significant accumulation of it, the installation is disturbed, and the machine must be stopped to manually clean the casing of sediment.

To eliminate this drawback, mechanical vibrators can be used. However, they significantly complicate the design and cause additional power consumption.

The proposed vibrator is made in the form of a rubber sheet bent in a semicircle with the ends fixedly attached to the chamber wall.

FIG. 1 shows a general view of the vibrator; in fig. 2 shows a section along L A in FIG. one.

Rubber lnst 2 is fixedly attached to the walls of the casing / discharge chamber of the centrifuge.

The particles of the material being processed ejected from the discharge ports of the drum 3 will strike the rubber half-ring, deform it and cause the vibration to prevent the material from sticking to the walls.
