Description
00 4 The invention relates to biology, animal husbandry and medicine, and is intended for the quantitative measurement of blood flow in arterial or venous blood. A known method for measuring the blood flow velocity using a sensor for measuring the oxygen partial pressure in arterial blood consisting of an anode, a cathode, an electrode holder and a C 1.3 heating element. However, this method is not suitable for working on blood vessels. A method is known for determining the blood velocity by blood oxygen saturation using a device consisting of a bandage equipped with platinum electrodes and split annular electrodes, which records the oxygen pressure in the vessels. 2 J However, the known method is not sufficiently accurate and reliable. The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy and reliability of the method. The goal is achieved in that according to the method of determining the blood flow rate, which includes saturating the blood of the animal with gas and recording the gas pressure in the vessels using a sensor, hydrogen is used as the gas, and the pressure of the gas in the vessels is measured by recording the oxidation current of hydrogen diffusing the hearts blood vessel walls, using a polarographic sensor. Example. The method for measuring blood flow in arteries and veins is based on the possibility of polarographic recording of molecular hydrogen and oxygen on the surface of an open platinum electrode. Inhaled hydrogen diffuses through the walls of blood vessels, reaching the surface of the platinum electrode. At the same time, hydrogen is expelled from the body through the lungs. In this case, the polarographic current in the measuring circuit decreases in proportion to the intensity of blood flow in the blood vessel. An operational sensor is installed on the vessel, in which the blood flow and the oxygen pressure are measured quantitatively. The blood is saturated with hydrogen by free inhalation for 12 minutes. At the same time, the current in the polarographic circuit is 5x10 A. The moment of termination of the current growth in the circuit is the beginning of the registration of the hydrogen leaching curve, which is exponential. Oxygen diffuses through the wall of the arteries and veins, which allows it to be polarographically recorded on the surface of the platinum electrode . The proposed method makes it possible to accurately and efficiently measure the blood flow velocity in the vessels in animals.
