Abstract

Subject of the invention is a coin sorting device which is used for sorting coins regarding their size, in particular their shape linked to the diameter and enables the sorting of several types of coins of different sizes. According to the invention, the problem is solved by providing such a coin sorting device, where by rotating the sorting panel (2) the coins are sorted according to their diameter by passing a sorting panel (5) into individual storage sleeves (7) where subsequently a coin is ejected by activating the ejector (11) which is applied to any storage sleeve (7).

Description

COINING SORTING DEVICE

The subject of the invention is a coin sorting device used for sorting coins according to their size, in particular the shape in relation to the diameter and allowing the sorting of several types of differently sized coins. A sorting device according to the invention, which can also be used to sort other coin-shaped flat round objects, e.g. washers, tablets, buttons, rings) is useful in convenient sorting boxes as well as cash registers and coin dispensers. The invention belongs to the class G 07D 32 / 12D of the international patent classification.

A technical problem that the present invention successfully solves is the construction of such a variety of devices that will allow in simple and without the use of motor-driven parts, the separation of a large number of differently sized coins and, consequently, their collection at one collection point, its components will be easy to make, and the device itself should be dimensionally suitable for pocket use.

There are several types of devices that allow for the sorting and collection of coins, which basically operate to identify different criteria or different parameters for certain types of coins. Thus, there are devices that recognize the type of coin according to its weight, thickness, diameter, or. a combination of these parameters.

Coin sorting machines described in EP patent documents

0731429 and US5538468 are based on coin recognition using 5 spin coils that are induced in coils past which coins move.

Patent Document DE 19603876 describes a solution that allows the coins to be sorted according to their dimension, but it operates by means of a motor driven plate that covers the coins and pushes them to the periphery, where specially designed guiding elements push them into appropriate collecting channels. Similarly, the coin-sorting apparatus described in patent document EP 1 064 623 operates in a similar manner.

All of the solutions described make it possible to solve the problem of quickly sorting a large number of coins, especially in cash registers and counting machines. All these solutions use electricity for their operation and are therefore not suitable for solving the technical problem.

According to the invention, the problem is solved by a coin sorting device, by means of which the coins are sorted by their diameter by means of rotation of a directing plate mounted between the inlet and the sorting plate, and directed into a suitable storage sleeve from which the ejector is then moved to desired storage sleeve, eject coin.

The coin sorting apparatus of the invention shown in Figure 1 consists of an inlet plate 1 with a round bore 2, a routing plate 3 with a round bore 4, a sorting plate 5 with differently sized round holes 6, storage sleeves 7, circumference 8, bottom 9 , carrier 10 of ejector 11, ejector 11 and axis 12.

The operation of the coin-sorting device according to the invention will be explained with reference to the parts shown in Figure 1, whereby it is clear that the functional sorting device of the invention is operative within the coin-sorting box, coin box or any other device that In addition to the sorting device according to the invention, it also has parts for storing unsorted coins and parts for dispensing sorted coins.

All components of the assortment of the device according to the invention are interconnected with the axis 11 in such a way that it is possible to rotate the guide plate 3. After inserting unsorted coins on the entry plate 1 and slightly shaking the whole device, the nearest coin is moved into the round hole 2. It now lies in the circular hole 2 of the entry plate 1 on the guide plate 3. By rotating the guide plate 3, the coin is slid into the circular hole 4 of the guide plate 3 and then, through the further movement of the guide plate 3, through the correspondingly large circular hole 6 of the sorting plate. plates 5 in, the storage sleeves 7 are fixed to the sorting plate 5. The sorting device according to the invention can be used in a convenient box of flat circular shape for sorting coins, which can also be used as a wallet due to its dimensions. It can enable us to sort, transfer and get the coin we want as quickly as possible.

The lower part of the box is formed by the circumference 8 and the bottom 9 of the sorting device according to the invention, and above the entry plate 1 is added a cap 16 with a filling opening 17.

The coin sorting apparatus of the invention can also be used in cash registers or cash counting devices. An example of use at the cash register, which allows the buyer to collect the coins himself after completing the io calculation, is shown in Figure 3.

The sorting device coin-box contains all the essential components of the sorting device described in the invention, except that the storage sleeve 7 is connected to suitable flexible tubes 18 that guide the sorted coins to the issue tray, from which the customer can collect the returned cash difference on his own. the amount is shown on screen 19.

The coin sorting device according to the invention successfully solves the technical problem, its construction makes it easy to use without the use of motor driven parts, and the dimensions of the sorting device itself make it possible to use as a pocket wallet for coins.
