APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ULTRASOUND COUPLING A transmission devicefixed to an ultrasound probe, said transmission device comprising: aprojection; said projection arranged to project from the probe, adjacent toa sensing end of said probe, when said device is mounted thereto; whereinsaid projection is further arranged to provide a signal path for saidultrasound waves.
