Abstract

STYRENIC COPOLYMER AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, AND EXTRUDED FOAM SHEET AND MOLDED ARTICLE THEREOF The purpose of the present invention is to provide a styrenic copolymer that exhibits superior formability, and contains less gelatinous material. This styrenic copolymer is formed 5 from a conjugated divinyl compound having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 850- 100,000 and one or more types of monovinyl compounds containing at least a styrenic compound, wherein: the contained amount of the conjugated divinyl compound is 2.0 10-6 to 4.0 10-4 moles per 1 mole of the monovinyl compounds; and the styrenic copolymer has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 200,000-500,000, and the proportion of the copolymer 10 having a molecular weight of 2,000,000 or more is 0.3-6.0%.
