Abstract

COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHODS FOR CARD- NOT-PRESENT TRANSACTIONS A server for processing a card-riot-present transaction is described. The server comprises at least a computer processor and a data storage device, the data storage device comprising instructions operative by the processor to: (i) receive a transaction authorisation request, where the transaction authorisation request comprises an indication of a payment card number and a delivery address used in the card-not-present transaction; (ii) retrieve, from a database, a registered address associated with the indication of the payment card number, the database being operatively connected to the server; (iii) compare the delivery address with the registered address; and (iv) generate a transaction authorisation response based on a result of the comparison, where the transaction authorisation response comprises an indication that the card-not-present transaction is to proceed if the delivery address matches the registered address.
